Job Description

As a senior compliance leader, you will oversee the implementation of regional compliance strategies across diverse markets. Your key responsibilities include ensuring regulatory alignment, embedding compliance frameworks, and fostering a strong culture of integrity and accountability.

Specifically, you will lead regional compliance risk assessments, identify and manage risks through effective controls, training, and governance. You will also collaborate with other departments to ensure an integrated approach to governance and oversight.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 10+ years of experience in financial services and regulatory compliance across Asia
  • Strong understanding of insurance and travel insurance industries
  • Familiarity with regulatory environments in key markets such as Singapore, Malaysia, China, Hong Kong and others
  • Hold a degree in law, business, economics, or a related field; relevant certifications are highly desirable
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to deliver clear actionable insights
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to engage and influence stakeholders across cultures and seniority levels
  • Experience working in complex matrixed organizations and managing cross-border compliance initiatives
