Fish production is a vital part of the food industry, and we are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Fish Production Operator.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing workstations, cleaning and maintaining equipment, and handling frozen/chilled fish/seafood processing with various components including processing (cutting, trimming, deboning & deskinning etc), packing (vacuum packing & strapping etc ) and storing of products.

  • Key responsibilities include:
  • Preparing workstations at the start of processing and cleaning and reinstating workstations after processing.
  • Handling frozen/chilled fish/seafood processing by types of equipment with various components including processing, packing and storing of products.
  • Cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment.
  • Ensuring that all food hygiene and safety standards are met and keeping up to date with industry standards.
  • Performing other food manufacturing duties assigned by the supervisor as needed.
  • Required skills and qualifications include:
  • Able to work in a cold environment, comfortable with repetitive work activities, working in accordance with schedules, operating machinery and working with cold materials.
  • Training will be provided to applicants with little to no experience in operating processing types of equipment.
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and lift heavy items.
  • Responsible, punctual, good working attitude, good team player and able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Applicants with WSQ certification in basic food hygiene and familiar with food handling and handling process in fish have added advantages.
