About the Position:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing SPMS' new MSPSI laboratory, overseeing the delivery of courses and programs, and ensuring lab facilities, equipment, and resources are well-prepared and maintained.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee the delivery of courses and programs utilizing the PSILab
  • Ensure lab facilities, equipment, and resources are well-prepared, maintained, and aligned with course requirements
  • Organize and coordinate lab sessions
  • Conceptualize, plan, and develop innovative lab facilities, tools, and equipment to enhance the lab's capabilities, and expand the scope of experiments and projects for hands-on learning in advanced science and engineering
  • Oversee project and experiment development, including collaborating with stakeholders, and managing timelines and budgets
  • Implement new experiments and projects to bridge theoretical knowledge with practical applications
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in an engineering or science field
  • Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience in academic administration and technical roles
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity or expertise in one or more tools and software such as MATLAB, LabVIEW, Python, ROS1/2, EDA, CAD, 3D modeling, circuit design, CNC/FDM/laser prototyping, electronics prototyping, IoT/AIoT, microcontrollers, Linux/Windows OS, computer vision, AI, and signal processing
  • Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to interact professionally with students, faculty, staff, and parents
