Roles & Responsibilities

The Human Resource and School Administration Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices, processes, and school administrative functions within the school. Driving HR Development and leading a team for HR Operations and School Administration, this role reports to the Vice Principal (Administration).

Key Responsibilities include

HR Development Functions

  • Develop, implement, and update HR policies, procedures and systems to ensure they meet organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Support training & development and staff engagement activities.

HR Operations Functions

  • Manage employment contracts
  • Handle employee compensation and benefits functions, ensuring competitive and fair compensation structures.
  • Manage the recruitment process, including sourcing and making job offers.
  • Accurately process monthly payrolls for all employees, including CPF contributions, income tax submissions (IR8A), and other statutory requirements.
  • Maintenance of employee records and HR systems.

School Administration

  • Oversees school administration functions such as front-counter duties, office stationery supplies, catering and bus bookings

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in HR-related discipline or possess a HR professional certification
  • Minimum 5 years of HR Generalist or relevant experience
  • Proficient and effective communicator with good interpersonal skills
  • An eye for detail with strong analytical ability and a good understanding of the Singapore Employment Act
