System Development and Support Expert

As a System Development and Support Expert, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of system solutions. Your primary focus will be on analysing and defining system requirements, identifying and resolving technical issues, designing, testing, and implementing appropriate solutions and standards.

Key duties include collaborating with stakeholders to understand application-related challenges, assessing existing procedures and workflows, and developing and recommending workflow solutions by evaluating and comparing alternative approaches.

Additionally, you will ensure effective implementation by defining specifications and coordinating with programmers during the production phase, conduct system testing to validate functionality and ensure accuracy of solutions, and support system operations by training end-users and providing ongoing technical assistance.

Maintaining comprehensive documentation is also crucial to serve as a reference for system functionalities and processes. Furthermore, contributing to the achievement of departmental and organisational goals by delivering assigned tasks and outcomes is essential.

Requirements:
  • Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field from a recognised institution
  • Minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in IT system development, integration, implementation, and/or support and maintenance
  • Experience in IT or database administration is an advantage
