About the Role

">

We are seeking a highly skilled Residential Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, managing, and overseeing hostel application processing, room assignments, and billing processes. This role requires strong leadership and customer service skills, with experience in residential management and customer relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Hostel Application Processing: Plan, manage, and oversee the hostel application processing, including assignment of rooms/housing units, management of waitlists, and student appeals for on-campus accommodation.">
  • Billing and Collections: Ensure accurate billing of hall fees and other payable items, as well as timely collection and follow-up where necessary. This includes accurate and timely refunds to students where applicable.">
  • Staff Supervision: Plan, deploy, supervise, and manage staff within the Hall Office to deliver optimal outcomes.">
  • Safety and Security Measures: Plan, organize, and conduct routine walkthroughs of OCH-managed premises to evaluate safety and security measures. This includes follow-up actions for enhancement and refinements of measures.">
  • Incident Reporting: Lead and take charge of investigations and compile supporting documentation for incident reports.">
  • Record-Keeping: Ensure the maintenance of up-to-date and precise records, including resident details, occupancy status, and availability.">
  • Facilities Reservations: Oversee regular stock-taking exercises and the disposal of managed inventory and assets within the cluster.">
  • Procurement: Define requirements for procuring necessary goods and services, including preparation of quotations and tenders, their evaluation, and making recommendations for award of business.">
  • Communication: Proactively engage student residents in understanding and addressing residents' needs, and contributing to problem-solving and resolution of concerns.">
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Collaborate with other departments and external vendors/contractors to get updates on the status of maintenance/repairs to student hostels.">
  • Inventory Management: Oversee regular stock-taking exercises and the disposal of managed inventory and assets within the cluster.">

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • ">
  • A degree with more than 3 years of managerial working experience in residential management/services, customer service/relationship management, hospitality management, central administration function, or related fields.">
  • Demonstrated experience in student hostel management, staff housing, or hospitality services would be advantageous for this role.">
  • Strong leadership and customer service skills, with experience in residential management and customer relationship management.">
  • Ability to plan, manage, and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.">
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong time management skills.">
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.">

Salary Estimate

">

The salary for this role is estimated to be around SGD $6,500 - SGD $8,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
