This role is responsible for the production of assorted pastries and puddings in a central kitchen setting. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience as a pastry staff or production crew, or pastry chef.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and produce high-quality pastries and puddings according to recipes and standards.
- Maintain consistency and adhere to manual and central kitchen processing procedures.
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment to ensure food safety standards are met.
- Receive, pack, and store raw ingredients and finished products according to temperature requirements.
- Perform routine housekeeping tasks in the central kitchen.
- Complete ad-hoc duties assigned by management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar production role.
- Able to work long hours and in a chilled room environment (temperature: 15 degrees).
- Proficient in reading and writing English and Mandarin due to language usage in manuals and SOPs.
- Team player with a positive attitude and passion for confectionery.
- Able to work in Boon Lay.
