Job Title: Director, Field Consulting

This position plays a key role in overseeing the strategic direction of Digital Consulting programs.

  • Act as primary contact for OEM Digital Consulting programs to deliver exceptional service to OEM Clients, internal field consulting teams, and OEM field teams.
  • Establish positive relationships with OEM Corporate clients, Digital Marketing and Lead Management departments, regions, and areas.
  • Monitor client and stakeholder satisfaction continuously to enhance client NPS scores year over year.
  • Handle specific national OEM Digital Marketing project requests to assist in program analysis, trends, research, and thought leadership to advance national Digital Marketing Consulting and Lead Management program initiatives.
  • Plan and execute program launches and initiatives with regional partners in collaboration with OEM, and provide performance dashboard data results.
  • Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) to showcase overall performance improvement of dealers, including program ROI, and summarize successes and opportunities.
  • Manage National Program billing and budgets.
  • Organize and execute bi-annual National Training Meetings (NTM) with a focus on venue, content, and delivery.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate performance of Lead Program Managers, Lead Digital Operations Consultant, and Learning and Development manager to encourage professional development and set objectives.
  • Identify and interview Program Manager & Digital Operations Consultant candidates nationally.
  • Communicate and execute OEM client goals and initiatives to internal teams consistently to achieve set objectives.
  • Utilize effective presentation and facilitation skills, attend regional meetings, and deliver brand-sponsored presentations as required.
  • Ensure financial health and revenue growth of assigned programs.
  • Lead forecasting, scoping/billing, contract management, and opportunity management.
  • Be accountable for identifying, pitching, and converting growth opportunities in alignment with revenue growth goals.

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Marketing or a related field.
  • Over 10 years of compatible automotive/agency business experience with previous supervisory responsibilities, displaying excellent leadership, judgment, and mentoring skills.
  • Significant program/project management experience and background in automotive retail, website, and Internet operations processes.
  • Strong business planning and relationship management skills, coupled with experience in business development, sales, and customer service, preferably within the automotive retail digital/website marketing domain.
  • The ability to be a thought leader, comfortable communicating confidently with clients and industry leaders, and delivering value beyond scope of work.
  • Strong organizational skills, including multitasking and time management, with capacity to coach and mentor direct reports.
  • An assertive and adaptive nature, with ability to switch gears quickly, stay solution-oriented, and focus on resolution.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of management, team members, and clients professionally, along with strong written, verbal, and presentation abilities.

This position also involves travel requirements, including air, train, and automobile travel, as well as possession of a valid passport and driver's license.

Director of Digital Consulting should be prepared to travel up to 50% of the time for client and internal meetings, conferences, and interactions.
