Director of Southeast Asia

This role is a key part of our team, responsible for developing and executing effective public policy strategies in Southeast Asia.

The successful candidate will oversee critical issues including gaming, child safety, artificial intelligence, privacy, and consumer protection.

  • Maintain and build relationships with policymakers and political figures in the region.
  • Identify, monitor, and analyze policy issues affecting Roblox in Southeast Asia.
  • Develop and execute policy strategies around issues important to the company.
  • Assist the wider public policy team on ongoing projects and initiatives.
  • Advise internal stakeholders on policy matters as inputs to product development and business operations.
  • Articulate the company's public policy positions and produce briefing papers and consultation responses.
Requirements

We're looking for a professional with:

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Political Science, Public Policy, Law, International Relations, Media, Technology, or related field of study.
  • 10+ years of experience working with policymakers and stakeholders across Southeast Asia.
  • Deep knowledge of the Southeast Asia policymaking and public opinion process.
  • Extensive experience in intelligence collection and analysis, strategy development, project management, and cross-functional partnership.
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
