Chief Environmental Health and Safety Specialist

Safety is a top priority in the wafer fabrication industry, and we're seeking a seasoned Senior Safety Specialist to join our team. As part of our ISEP (Safety) Department, you will play a key role in ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental, health and safety (EHS) with at least 5 years of experience in a semiconductor or related industry. They will be responsible for developing and implementing site-specific safety programs, conducting regular audits and inspections, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to address EHS concerns.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining site-specific safety policies and procedures
- Conducting regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and risks
- Collaborating with operations teams to ensure safe working practices and equipment operation
- Providing training and guidance to employees on EHS procedures and protocols
Requirements:
- Degree qualification in a relevant discipline such as environmental science, occupational health and safety, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in a semiconductor or related industry
- Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
