Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Chief Sustainability Officer for Environmental Health and Safety to lead our organization in maintaining a safe, healthy, and environmentally friendly work environment. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to minimize our ecological footprint and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Environmental Management: Develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs to reduce environmental impact, promote sustainability, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Safety Leadership: Foster a culture of safety and health across the organization, ensuring all employees understand their roles and responsibilities in maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks to people, assets, and the environment, ensuring proactive measures are taken to prevent incidents and injuries.
  • Compliance: Stay up-to-date with changing regulations, standards, and best practices, ensuring our organization remains compliant and ahead of the curve.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience in environmental health and safety management, with at least 7 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of environmental regulations, industry standards, and best practices; excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
