Job Overview

The Environmental Sustainability Officer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the organization's environmental health and safety standards are met.

  • Spearhead environmental risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices in waste management, energy efficiency, and emissions reduction.
  • Develop and conduct training programs to educate employees on environmental protocols and procedures.
  • Investigate incidents and provide recommendations for process improvements.

Requirements

  • Minimum Specialist Diploma in Safety, Health and Environment or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Registration with the Ministry of Manpower as a Work Safety and Health Officer (WSHO).
  • Certification in Lifting Supervisors Safety Course, Supervision of Metal Scaffold Erection Course, Confined Space Safety Assessor Course, Manage Hazardous Substances, Control Noise and Vibration.
