Job Title: Audit Team Leader

Description:

This role plays a pivotal part in our audit team, reporting directly to the audit manager and partner. Our management values an employee-orientated culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality work delivery, and continuous improvement.

  • Participate in audit planning meetings as applicable.
  • Assist in audit procedural tests with guidance from senior staff including walk-through tests sampling techniques compliance tests of internal controls substantive tests of account balances analytical reviews and audit verification by physical inspection.
  • Contribute to the preparation of audit working papers completion of audit programmes.
  • Draft financial statements in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and other related reports such as engagement letters management letters and propose any audit adjustments.
  • Prepare draft tax computations or review estimated tax computations for audit purposes.
  • Compile financial statements in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards including preparation of cash flow statements.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Auditing skills and knowledge in using Caseware audit software.
  • Ability to perform audit tests and document audit workpapers.
  • Improved communication skills oral and business writing.
  • Developed quality financial statement reporting skill.
  • Knowledge and application of Financial Reporting Standards.

Requirements:

  • Degree or professional qualification equivalent to a degree or finalist in completing professional certificates.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in auditing in sizable firms in Singapore.
