Job Description:

The role of a senior audit leader involves overseeing multiple engagements to deliver high-quality audit services. As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance on audit engagements, ensuring they are executed efficiently and effectively. Your expertise in audit planning, execution, and finalization will be crucial in meeting client expectations and delivering results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a portfolio of international and local clients, delivering quality audit and assurance services through effective planning, direction, and completion of audits.
  • Apply professional skepticism during the audit process and exercise judgment on critical technical issues.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and project timelines, maintaining open communication with clients and teams.
  • Stay updated on industry developments by attending relevant training sessions and workshops.
  • Develop and mentor team members to enhance their skills and competencies.
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and contribute to staff development.
  • Collaborate with business development teams on pitches and proposals.
  • Work closely with the audit business support team to manage engagement financials, including budgets, profitability, and timely billing.
  • Facilitate effective communication within diverse teams and promote a positive work environment.

Requirements:
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA or CPA).
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably from a reputable accounting firm.
  • Strong grasp of technical skills, including proficiency in SFRS/IFRS and SSA/ISA.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively across different levels and cultures.
  • Positive attitude, adaptability, and strong computer skills.
