Senior Audit Leader

 

The Senior Audit Leader is responsible for leading and executing audit engagements for a portfolio of clients across various industries. The role involves ensuring quality and compliance with auditing standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute audit engagements to ensure high-quality results and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Prepare comprehensive audit reports and present findings to stakeholders for review.
  • Plan, organize, and manage audit fieldwork, including allocating tasks to junior staff and providing on-the-job training and supervision.
  • Review working papers, financial statements, and audit findings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant reporting frameworks.
  • Identify key audit issues and propose practical solutions or recommendations to address client concerns.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to obtain necessary audit information, clarify accounting issues, and resolve audit-related queries.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports and presentations, effectively communicating findings and recommendations to clients.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, or relevant professional qualification.
  • At least 2-3 years post-qualification experience in external audit with current technical knowledge aligned with professional audit standards and procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and financial reporting requirements is essential.
  • Leadership skills, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to think critically are required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Software Program.
  • Hardworking individual with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work and able to work independently.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with team members and clients.
