At Simpson Marine (SEA) PTE LTD, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Manager SEA to join our team. As a key member of our Service Department, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining resources, procedures, and working environments that enable our Service Department in Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia to achieve its primary goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the daily operations of the Service Department to ensure high-quality work is completed efficiently and within budget.
- Monitor running costs and implement plans to optimize financial performance.
- Oversee service teams across the region, ensuring smooth and effective functioning.
- Assess and evaluate existing practices, identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancements.
- Establish and maintain standard operating procedures to standardize practices and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
- Implement and maintain health and safety standards.
- Establish and maintain a customer service index system to ensure efficient resolution of client faults.
- Collaborate with shipyards to address warranty claims and administer warranty for clients.
- Trade school training with certification in diesel mechanics, electrics, refrigeration, or shipyard engineering.
- Experience in Sanlorenzo, Bluegame, Swan, Fairline, and Axopar is an advantage.
- Broad understanding of modern pleasure vessel systems, including mechanical and electrical systems.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English, including ability to read and understand service manuals and wiring diagrams.
- Proficient in MS Office applications and excellent computer and internet skills.
- At least five years of experience in customer service, preferably in the marine industry.
- At least three years of experience in a managerial position with exceptional organizational and supervisory ability.
