Care Advocate for Students Under Guardianship

Stamford American is seeking a Guardianship Liaison to join our Safeguarding team. The role will promote the welfare and enhance the school experience of students living in Singapore without their parents.

The Guardianship Liaison plays a key support role, building strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure each student feels safe, supported, and belongs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for engaging confidently with students, parents, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students under guardianship, fostering a sense of belonging and promoting their overall well-being
  • Collaborate with colleagues across diverse teams to ensure effective working relationships
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and stakeholders, managing sensitive or challenging conversations with care and professionalism

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:

Minimum Bachelor's degree in Education or equivalent required. Relevant experience in Boarding, Education, Counseling, or Safeguarding is advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong collaboration skills, with ability to build effective relationships across diverse teams. Adaptable and flexible, with ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Proficient in technology, highly organized, and detail-oriented. Proficiency in Mandarin beneficial for supporting communication with members of the school community where necessary.
