Job Title: Student Wellness Advocate

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Student Wellness Advocate. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about promoting student well-being and creating a positive impact on campus life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement wellness initiatives that promote inclusion, diversity, and mental well-being among students.
  • Mentor student leaders and interest groups to develop their capacity for resilience and leadership skills.
  • Provide pastoral care and counseling support to students facing problems in adjusting to university life.
  • Advise students on emotional difficulties affecting their general well-being and academic performance.
  • Support students facing problems in studies as raised by faculty and the Student Life Committee.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Familiarity with student-centered functions and student life policies.
