Teaching Excellence in Higher Education

Job Description:
  • Deliver and/or facilitate modules aligned to your area of expertise, adhering to prescribed lesson plans and learning outcomes.
  • Coordinate with Heads of Programme, Module Leaders, and/or associates on assessments, moderation, and examinations.
  • Monitor student performance and provide academic advisement and progression counselling.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A Master's degree in one of the disciplines within the department is required.
  • A Doctorate would be an added advantage.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant work and teaching experience in a higher education environment is preferred.
  • Competencies in pedagogy and people management.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in curriculum design, adult learning principles, and effective assessment strategies.
  • Experience working with subject matter experts to develop accurate, relevant content.
  • Knowledge of digital learning tools and the ability to select teaching methods appropriate for the industry and audience.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships across teams.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills.
  • Self-motivated, well-organised, detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality control.
  • Strong problem-solving skills using innovative and proactive approaches.
