Job Description

Ridge View Residential College seeks dedicated educators to join our team of faculty members. The successful applicants will be responsible for teaching interdisciplinary courses, contributing to curriculum design and development, and engaging in out-of-classroom learning and other student-centric pedagogies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and teach academic interdisciplinary courses with a focus on sustainable development and workplace readiness
  • Engage students in out-of-classroom learning experiences, including outdoor activities
  • Mentor students in formal and informal learning settings
  • Support the college's mission through service contributions, including leading living-and-learning initiatives

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A PhD in a relevant field or equivalent qualification
  • Teaching experience at the tertiary level is preferred
  • Fully embracing of interdisciplinary and integrative teaching methods
  • Motivation and reflectiveness as an educator
  • Adaptability to dynamic working environments
  • Passion for student growth and success
