Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced mechanical engineer to lead and manage projects related to air conditioning and mechanical ventilation (ACMV) systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing ACMV projects while ensuring alignment with safety standards, timelines, and budget. They will oversee project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage full project lifecycle of ACMV works, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Supervise site works, installations, and testing & commissioning systems.
  • Review and interpret M&E/ACMV drawings and specifications.
  • Prepare project documentation including method statements, reports, and progress updates.
  • Monitor project costs and control budget to avoid overruns.
  • Ensure compliance with local codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have a diploma or degree in mechanical engineering or a related field and at least 5 years of relevant experience in managing ACMV projects. You should also possess strong knowledge of chilled water systems, ducting, and ventilation systems. Additionally, you should be proficient in project management tools, AutoCAD, and BIM software.

  • Key Qualifications:
  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in managing ACMV projects.
  • Strong knowledge of chilled water systems, ducting, ventilation systems.
  • Proven ability to lead project teams and manage subcontractors.
  • Familiar with industry standards and regulations.
  • Proficiency in project management tools, AutoCAD, BIM software.
