Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate mechanical engineering activities related to static equipment and packaged equipment.
  • Review and check technical specifications, datasheets, and vendor drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to design teams and subcontractors.
  • Liaise with clients, vendors, and other engineering disciplines to resolve technical issues.
  • Ensure all designs and engineering deliverables comply with project specifications, codes, and standards.
  • Participate in equipment inspection, factory acceptance tests (FAT), and site installation support as required.
  • Contribute to planning and scheduling of mechanical engineering deliverables.
  • Monitor and report progress, highlight issues, and propose corrective measures to meet project milestones.
  • Prepare and review technical reports and documentation for submission.
  • Support commissioning teams during equipment start-up and testing phases.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 8–10 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering, including experience with static and packaged equipment.
  • Prior experience working in EPC projects or petrochemical/chemical plant projects is preferred.
  • Good understanding of international codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API).
