Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality respiratory care services to patients with cardio-pulmonary system deficiencies and abnormalities.

Key responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care services, emergency services, and special procedures in the Intensive Care Units to assist physicians in diagnosing and managing patients with cardio-respiratory diseases and related disorders.

Some of the key tasks you will perform include managing patients on mechanical ventilators, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, assisting in endotracheal intubation, arterial blood gas sampling and analysis, and assisting in bronchoscopy procedures.

You will also participate in ward rounds with the medical team to review and discuss appropriate respiratory therapy for patients.

Additional duties include providing education and training to other healthcare professionals, students, and patients as needed, as well as basic maintenance and troubleshooting of RT equipment.

Furthermore, you will contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives in the department and provide guidance to trainees and students.

Requirements:
  • Degree in Respiratory Therapy
