We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team in Jurong East. The successful candidate will be responsible for commissioning, troubleshooting and repair of marine Generators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commission, troubleshoot and repair of marine Generators
  • Provide after-sales technical support and site recovery services to distributors and end customers
  • Generate service reports in a systematic manner
  • Investigate and handle customer complaints related to product failures
  • Investigate root causes of failures and recommend solutions
  • Review and assist in determining the extent of damage and repairs of warranty claims from distributors
  • Maintain close working relationships with key customers to ensure issue resolution
  • Develop and update service training materials and documents
  • Provide specific training to distributors and dealers on service and troubleshooting skills
Requirements

Diploma/degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience.

Fair amount of traveling required in the Asia Pacific and Southeast Asia Region.

Candidates with equivalent professional background will be considered.

Prior electrical and control experience with various control systems (John Deere ECU and KDI ECU) and synchronization systems will be advantageous.
