Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Export Executive to join our team at GLOBAL AIRFREIGHT INTERNATIONAL PTE. LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting export operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support export operations, including export documentation and compliance with customer, airline, and destination customs requirements.
- Lead the Dangerous Goods (DG) team in shipment handling and ensure operational compliance with regulations.
- Develop and implement effective manpower planning, claims, and incentives for the export operations team.
- Generate weekly and monthly statistics reports for management reporting and provide insights for business development.
- Liaise with Singapore Customs and engage with Ground Handling Agents for operational matters.
- Ensure invoice recovery for all invoices pertaining to export office and manage ad-hoc tasks assigned.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least an ITE/Diploma in Logistics/Transportation or equivalent study.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and equipped with IT skills will be preferred.
- Good at statistics and willing to undertake projects, with a service-oriented mindset and high sense of urgency.
- Ability to communicate in fluent English and good writing skills, with willingness to take shift duties.
