About the Role:

  • Support senior management in devising and implementing strategic plans aligned with the company's objectives to drive growth, profitability, and expansion within the wholesale division.
  • Oversee operational processes including inventory management, logistics, distribution, and customer service ensuring efficient operations and high service levels.
  • Streamline business processes to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance while maintaining exceptional service standards.
  • Optimise the supply chain to ensure timely procurement of goods, efficient inventory turnover, and effective distribution to customers or retail partners.
  • Manage departmental budgets, monitor expenses, analyse financial performance, and optimise costs for maximum profitability and adherence to financial targets.
  • Mentor and manage the operations team, fostering a culture of teamwork, innovation, and professional growth.
  • Maintain and enhance relationships with suppliers, vendors, and key customers ensuring high levels of service and satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, trade laws, and industry regulations related to wholesale trade operations assessing risks and developing strategies to mitigate disruptions.
  • Analyse operational performance metrics identifying areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth.">

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 5-6 years of management/leadership experience preferably in wholesale trade operations.
  • Profound knowledge of supply chain management, inventory control, logistics, and wholesale trade dynamics.
  • Strategic planning and decision-making skills with the ability to drive operational excellence and growth.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.">
