Procurement Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to assume the role of Procurement Strategist, focusing on procurement strategies and processes.

  • Create and implement procurement plans for business services categories.
  • Analyze market data, identify cost savings opportunities, and improve procurement processes.
  • Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop innovative procurement solutions.
  • Evaluate supplier responses, participate in supplier selection processes, and maintain accurate records and reports.

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or a related field.
  • Experience with business services categories, including office/facility management, IT, insurance, and professional services.
  • Knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Understanding of contract management and supplier relationship management principles.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in SAP MM module, including vendor setup, PO creation, and vendor management.
  • Experience with procurement software, such as e-sourcing platforms, contract management systems, and spend analysis tools.
  • Data analysis and reporting skills, with ability to interpret and present complex data.
