Job Title: Procurement Strategist

The Procurement Strategist will lead the development and implementation of comprehensive procurement strategies for indirect materials, components, and services. This includes Marketing activities, General Affairs, and other related tasks.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and improve supplier relationships.
  • Conduct market research and spend analysis to identify new sourcing opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Analyze and evaluate vendors for accreditation and supplier management.
  • Negotiate prices of quotations and proposals to achieve optimal pricing.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with strategic suppliers.
  • Conduct regular supplier performance reviews to monitor quality, delivery, cost, and responsiveness.
  • Develop and implement supplier development programs to enhance capabilities and ensure supply chain resilience.
  • Lead complex commercial and contractual negotiations with suppliers to achieve favorable terms and service level agreements.
  • Manage the full contract lifecycle to ensure compliance with legal and company policies.
  • Drive aggressive cost reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing, value engineering, supplier rationalization, and continuous process improvement.
  • Implement total cost of ownership models to evaluate procurement decisions beyond unit price.
  • Monitor market trends for electronic components and raw materials to anticipate price fluctuations and implement hedging strategies.
  • Evaluate and ensure all procurement activities adhere to internal policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing standards.
