Job Title: Construction Estimator


This role is ideal for individuals who have a passion for numbers and construction. As a Construction Estimator, you will be responsible for analyzing projects, creating estimates, and ensuring that they are completed within budget.


Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing construction projects to determine the necessary materials and labor required.
  • Creating detailed estimates for each project, including materials, labor, and equipment costs.
  • Collaborating with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that all aspects of the project are well-planned and executed.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all estimates, including documentation of calculations and assumptions.
  • Communicating effectively with clients and project stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met.
  • Budgeting and financial management: Developing and managing budgets for construction projects to ensure timely completion and cost-effectiveness.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma in quantity surveying, civil engineering, construction management, or related fields.
  • Experience in Tender and Contract management.
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in quantity surveying.
  • Proficient in cost estimation software/tools and familiar with sourcing, purchasing, and billing.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
