Site Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Operations Manager to oversee the execution of site operations in accordance with BCA regulations. The successful candidate will have experience in managing site teams, ensuring timely completion of works, and maintaining quality control.

  • The Site Operations Manager will be responsible for verifying all drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with approved plans, reporting discrepancies to the Officer-in-Charge.
  • They will also monitor the quality of works, materials, and samples delivered to site, rectifying non-compliance and reporting to the Officer-in-Charge on materials not conforming to specifications.
  • The successful candidate will prepare defect lists, monitor progress of rectification works, and ensure satisfactory resolution of defects.
  • They will supervise works to comply with statutory requirements and specifications, ensuring that structural elements or critical works are executed in accordance with approved plans.
  • The Site Operations Manager will attend site, progress, variation, QAQC, and coordination meetings, keeping proper minutes of these meetings.
  • They will assist in resolving main contractors' queries and coordinate works with other contractors.
  • The successful candidate will inspect and assist with handing/taking over of completed works by other contracts.
  • They will maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all works, coordinating building and M&E services.
  • The Site Operations Manager will collaborate with the safety team to ensure maximum safety on site, performing ad-hoc duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil or Structural discipline from a reputable institution.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as RTO, with at least 2 years in supervision of deep excavation, drainage, pipe jacking, ground improvement, supervising and installation of monitoring instruments, and collating monitoring data.
  • Ability to work shifts, including night shifts.
  • Possession of a valid RTO Certification accredited by IES.
