This position is a key part of our Capital Advisory practice group, focused on helping insurers and reinsurers to devise balance sheet solutions supporting capital management.

We are seeking an experienced professional with expertise in strategic capital management, regulatory updates, and reinsurance structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor the evolution of insurance regulations of major Asia Pacific markets and periodically issue regulatory updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assess the impact on rating and/or regulatory capital due to the implementation of reinsurance.
  • Liaise with clients and reinsurer partners to evaluate alternative reinsurance structures designed at maximising capital efficiency.
Requirements
  • Bachelor or Masters degree in finance, accounting, insurance, or actuarial science.
  • 5-8 years of working experience in general insurance, preferably with a financial/actuarial background.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint and VBA programming skills a plus.
  • Solid finance and accounting knowledge, good understanding of insurers and reinsurers financial statements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface at all levels with internal and external stakeholders.
