Job Description

This role is focused on strategic capital management to drive regional business growth. Our organization has a strong presence across 10 countries in Asia, with a well-structured legal entity framework that supports our product and service offerings. With an ambitious medium-term growth plan in place, we are seeking a skilled individual to partner with the business to identify opportunities arising from changing market conditions and deploy capital resources efficiently to maximize investment returns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in business planning discussions and articulate key potential opportunities and roadblocks to drive solutions and maximize overall regional returns
  • Develop a stress management framework in subsidiaries to improve regulatory resilience and formalize implementation processes through relevant country governance committee forums
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop a capital management strategy aligned with entity rationalization plans, striking a balance between growth prospects and regulatory risk
  • Monitor entity capital usage and support capital optimization strategies
  • Evaluate changes in the regulatory, compliance, and tax environment and propose risk mitigation plans to senior management
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in capital and liquidity management, and Basel requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
