Job Title: Director, Capital Markets

Our company seeks an accomplished professional to assume responsibility for originating, developing, and executing capital markets transactions.

About the Role:

  • You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop strategic solutions to meet their financial objectives.
  • You will lead cross-functional teams in the execution of IPOs, equity and debt offerings, and other capital markets transactions.
  • You will be responsible for managing due diligence processes, preparing and reviewing offering documents, and coordinating regulatory filings.
  • You will also liaise with external stakeholders, including legal counsel, auditors, underwriters, and other professional advisors.

Requirements:

  • At least 7-10 years of relevant professional experience in investment banking, private equity, structured financing, primary and private placement, and M&A in Asia Pacific and/or management consulting is required.
  • A proven track record of successful transactions for HKEX IPOs as a principal officer/deal execution/private equity funds and/or direct equity investments is necessary.
  • Strong financial modeling skills, excellent attention to detail, and strong communication, networking, and project management skills are essential.
  • Highly motivated self-starters and collaborative team members are preferred.
  • Deal execution experience in bond issuance by Southeast Asia issuers and Mainland issuers is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated track records of closing successful transactions, including private equity funds and/or direct equity investments in developing markets, are required.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment with minimal supervision is necessary.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and VBA, is required.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese, with the ability to liaise with Chinese-speaking stakeholders, is essential.
