Job Title:

Home Appliance Service Specialist

About the Role:

This is a permanent position that requires delivering exceptional after-sales service, troubleshooting, maintenance, and installation of home kitchen products at customer locations.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining an adequate stock of spare parts in their vehicle for service jobs, conducting basic user training for customers, preparing and explaining service reports to customers after each visit, representing the company in a professional manner as a frontline staff member, working together with both internal and external team members, following up on outstanding service issues promptly, providing necessary service and assistance as directed by the organization, and managing and keeping track of spare parts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional after-sales service, troubleshooting, maintenance, and installation of home kitchen products at customer locations.
  • Maintain an adequate stock of spare parts in your vehicle for service jobs.
  • Conduct basic user training for customers.
  • Prepare and explain service reports to customers after each visit.
  • Represent the company in a professional manner as a frontline staff member.
  • Work together with both internal and external team members.
  • Follow up on outstanding service issues promptly.
  • Provide necessary service and assistance as directed by the organization.
  • Manage and keep track of spare parts.
Requirements:
  • NiTEC, HiTEC, Diploma, or equivalent in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, or related fields).
  • 1-2 years of experience servicing home appliances preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical schematics is an advantage.
  • Able to troubleshoot and solve mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Experience in gas water heaters or possession of a Gas Service Worker License (LGSW) is an advantage.
  • Must have a valid Class 3 driving license.
