As an HR Business Partner at Careers@Gov, you will be responsible for partnering with business units to drive the people agenda and achieve business objectives. This includes talent acquisition, manpower management, and talent management. You will work closely with stakeholders to identify and develop the talent pool within the business unit, as well as facilitate performance management and employee relations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the sourcing, attracting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of new employees, taking into account the business unit's hiring needs and manpower planning forecast.
  • Partner with business unit stakeholders to manage its headcount establishments (MMF) to ensure that the business unit is optimally resourced to drive its strategic objectives.
  • Partner with business unit stakeholders to identify and develop the talent pool within the business unit as part of bench strength building and succession planning.
  • Facilitate performance management to recognize and reward high performance while identifying areas of performance gaps to develop appropriate interventions.
  • Be the key point of contact for employees within the business unit on HR-related matters, including providing feedback to the HR team on HR policies and procedures from the employees so as to improve better employee experience.
  • Provide advisory or support on employee conduct & disciplinary matters to business unit stakeholders or employees in accordance with relevant HR policies and procedures.

Requirements
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in a HR generalist or business partnering role that covers the full spectrum of HR functions that include talent acquisition & recruitment, compensation, performance management, manpower planning, and stakeholder management.
  • Candidates from the Public Service and/or with IHRP certification would be an added advantage.
