Technical Support Team Lead Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Support Team Lead to manage our technical support team.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of technical support specialists, ensuring excellent customer service and resolving incidents efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of technical support specialists to provide first-level technical assistance;
  • Act as a further escalation point for unresolved or escalated cases;
  • Promote a high level of customer service excellence among team members;
  • Report on potential business impacts;
  • Ensure team members take ownership of user problems and address issues proactively;

Requirements:

  • At least 7 years of end-user support experience, preferably in desktop or technical service desk environments;
  • 5 years of experience leading a technical support team;
  • Familiarity with technical support operations;
  • ITIL 4 Foundation certification is desirable;
