About Child Protection Specialist Centre (CPSC)

We are dedicated to providing quality home-based services and support to families and children experiencing abuse or severe neglect at home.

Our aim is to empower families to reach their fullest potential and provide ongoing support through life's changes and challenges.

  • Conduct thorough risk assessments to ensure the safety of children and families.
  • Develop and implement effective intervention plans to address the needs of high-need families.
  • Provide emotional support, guidance, and brief counseling to selected families, children, and young persons.
  • Supervise social workers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality services.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Social Work or a degree with a Graduate Diploma in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience working with child protection, mental health, and/or family violence issues.
  • Maturity, communication skills, and interpersonal skills to work with professionals and families from diverse backgrounds.
  • The ability to engage and work with children and adolescents.
