Project Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the project management team, you will be responsible for managing the procurement processes for designated projects, ensuring that all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and project timelines.

This role is critical in securing high-quality goods and services while maximizing value and maintaining transparency. The successful candidate will have excellent negotiation skills, strong analytical abilities, and experience in managing end-to-end procurement processes.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with the project's goals and timeline.
  • Collaborate with project managers to forecast procurement needs and ensure timely acquisition of materials, equipment, and services.
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
  • Prepare tender documentation, manage the tendering process, and ensure adherence to procurement policies.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in a project-based role.
  • Experience in managing end-to-end procurement processes, including vendor negotiations and contract management.
  • Familiarity with project management principles and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of procurement systems and tools (SAP preferred).
