At the forefront of financial institutions lies a critical role that requires expertise and dedication. The position of Senior Vice President, Compliance Product Sr Officer (Regulatory Reporting) in Singapore presents an exceptional opportunity for high-caliber professionals to make a meaningful impact.

About the Role

This senior function/business/product compliance risk officer will establish internal strategies, policies, procedures, processes, and programs to prevent violations of law, rule, or regulation. They will also design and deliver a risk management framework that maintains risk levels within the firm's risk appetite and protect the franchise.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring compliance risk behaviors, providing day-to-day Compliance advice relating to operations, financial requirements, and guidance on the supported function/business/product and the associated regulatory rules/laws and interpretation on internal policies and procedures.

A key aspect of this role is staying abreast of relevant changes to rules/regulations and other industry news, including regulatory findings. The successful candidate will analyze and scope the impact of new and complex regulatory developments across senior function/business/product, including cross-border impact.

Responsibilities
  • Designing, developing, delivering, and maintaining best-in-class Compliance programs, policies, and practices.
  • Translating ICRM strategy and goals across Citi's clients, products, and geographies in a succinct and clear manner.
  • Serving as a subject matter expert on Citi's Compliance programs.
  • Providing expert guidance on function/business/product regulations on a real-time basis to manage compliance risk.
  • Overseeing the monitoring and identification of regulatory developments.
  • Advising ICRM and function/business/product management and personnel on regulatory and compliance issues.
Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates must possess:

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience.
  • Technical subject matter expertise of non-financial regulatory reporting, e.g., MAS, HKMA, ASIC Derivatives Reporting or international equivalents.
  • Expertise in Compliance laws, rules, regulations, risks, and typologies.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with regional and global partners.
  • Experience in managing regulatory exams and relationships with examiners.
  • Awareness of regulatory requirements.
