Quality Assurance and Control Manager

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) professional to oversee all quality-related functions for condominium projects.
  • The successful candidate will ensure that works comply with contractual, regulatory, and client requirements while driving a culture of quality excellence throughout the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • This role involves developing QA/QC policies, procedures, and inspection plans in line with project and regulatory requirements.
  • The candidate will review project specifications, drawings, and method statements to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Site inspections and audits will be conducted to verify workmanship, materials, and compliance with approved drawings.
  • The QA/QC Manager will lead quality meetings and coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and project teams to address quality-related issues.
  • Non-conformances will be identified, tracked, and resolved with corrective/preventive actions.
  • Quality documentation, including inspection reports, test results, and certifications, will be managed by this position.
  • The QA/QC Manager will provide training and guidance to site teams on QA/QC processes and best practices.
  • Liaison with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities will be required on quality matters.
  • Material testing, mock-ups, and commissioning inspections will also be overseen by this role.
  • Regular reports will be provided to senior management on quality performance, risks, and improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • A diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum 7 years of QA/QC experience in the construction industry is necessary.
  • A proven track record in condominium or private residential projects is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of BCA regulations, CONQUAS, and industry QA/QC standards is required.
