Key Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Data Centre Operations Site Lead to manage site operations, drive business growth and ensure seamless delivery of planned and reactive activities within financial targets.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and up-time requirements to guarantee the smooth operation of our data centre sites.
  • Support regular site reviews, including maintenance standards, equipment replacement, security, change control, points of failure, Tier adherence and operational risk management.
  • Ensure effective utilisation of the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) platform to deliver high-quality services.
  • Perform additional tasks as required by the Data Centre Operations Manager and Client Critical Facilities Manager.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to operate our client's facilities with regard to facilities engineering matters.
  • Lead and support meetings with contractors, specialist vendors and suppliers to establish and maintain required standards.
  • Monitor, measure and report on the performance of all specialist contractors in terms of their ability to carry out work against agreed contractual budgets.
Ideal Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Tertiary qualifications in mechanical, electrical or operational engineering disciplines.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in operating electrical and mechanical services in Tier III or equivalent data centre or critical facility.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Possess relevant DC certifications and a strong understanding of continuous improvement initiatives, client relationships and report preparation.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and improving operational efficiency.
