Spare Parts Specialist
The Spare Parts Specialist will be responsible for managing and coordinating the delivery of spare parts, ensuring timely and accurate processing of orders and shipments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the spare parts team to monitor and manage delivery schedules.
- Regularly update inventory systems with expected times of arrival and departure.
- Process daily internal spare parts orders and ensure timely dispatches.
- Verify accuracy and completeness of import/export documentation and maintain precise records.
- Implement strategies to reduce costs associated with transportation and shipping services.
- Promptly report any shipment delays or discrepancies to the Supervisor.
- Assist the Store Team with the receipt of goods, including unloading, checking, labeling, and storing.
- Prepare and prioritize outbound shipments according to availability and executive approvals.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure quality, proper storage, and adequate safety stock levels.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment and supplies.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.
Requirements:
- Diploma or equivalent in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or closely related field.
- 3-5 years in a similar role.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems.
- Candidates without experience are welcome to apply. Training will be provided.
