Product Development Engineer Summary:

  • This is a critical role in product development, responsible for ensuring the overall performance and capability of products.
  • As an Industrial Product Engineer, you will provide technical support to production operations and advocate industrial engineering best practices with a multi-functional team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Product Technical Support: Provide expert advice on product-related matters, including new product introduction, equipment, and process improvements.
  2. Process Improvement: Lead or participate in product and process improvement projects to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  3. Quality Management: Accountable for product root cause analysis, 8D analysis, and driving reactivity objectives.
  4. Customer Interface: Function as the main interface to customers, responsible for all quality issues of assigned products, and drive actions with internal and external parties to decrease first-fit rejections.
  5. Project Management: Initiate and manage product continuous improvement plans, validate supplier alerts on product levels, and establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure support performance.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Aerospace/Aeronautical/Electronic/Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in technical support functions.
  • Experience in aviation industry advantageous.
  • Competent in interactive communication, problem-solving, and decision-making.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
