We are seeking an experienced Industrial Product Development Specialist to join our team. As an Industrial Product Development Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to production operations and advocating industrial engineering best practices.

• To provide product technical support to production operations for areas of product engineering competencies and advocate industrial engineering best practices with support from multi-functional teams (MFTs).">
• Responsible for overall product performance and capability, new product introduction, equipment.">
• Responsible for product evolution and liaise closely with Product Development Associates (PDAs) on product roadmaps.">
• Function as the main interface to customers and be responsible for all quality issues of assigned products. Drive actions with internal and external parties to decrease first-fit rejections rates.">
• Accountable for product root cause analysis of all quality/process issues by performing 8D analyses (FTQPs) and driving reactivity objectives.">

   • Accountable and responsible for managing product definition files and configurations.">
   • Accountable and responsible for product evolution and staying active in IPT teams.">
   • To innovate, improve, implement, evaluate, and sustain engineering processes and capabilities.">
   • To advocate engineering best practices supported by MFTs and production to improve work processes and achieve optimum operational efficiencies.">
   • Responsible for product costs, focusing on Design Authority Fees, improving internal technical competency, reducing non-quality costs, and contributing to R1 and FPY improvements.">

3. IPT Network Communication & Co-operations">

• ">
• Liaise with Design Authorities and IPTs for technical matters to support product performance and competitiveness.">

• ">
• Monitor and escalate support effectiveness (with job prioritization) to Production Line Managers. Ensure adequate support to operations' requests and ensure adequate support given to production lines for product evolution qualification, capability setup, and relevant technical supports as required.">

  • To lead and coordinate with MFTs on investigation findings and recommended corrective actions.">

  • Perform impact analyses and work closely with IPTs for product issues.">

Requirements:

• ">
• Diploma/degree in Aerospace/Aeronautical/Electronic/Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.">
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in technical support functions.">
• Experience in aviation industries will be added advantages.">
• Competence in interactive communication, problem-solving, and decision-making are required.">
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.">
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.">
• Good and fluent in both written and oral communication skills.">
• Able to work within tight/assigned timelines.">

Key Qualifications:
