Highly Skilled Unix Engineer Wanted

We are seeking a seasoned Unix/Linux engineer to support the smooth operation of our critical IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent analytical abilities, and the capacity to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 2 technical assistance for Unix/Linux servers and associated systems.
- Maintain vigilant monitoring and swift incident response in a 24x7 environment.
- Conduct thorough root cause analysis and escalate issues as required.
- Prioritize timely resolution of problems to ensure system uptime and service levels.
Necessary Qualifications:
- A minimum of two years of experience in IT, with at least one year in a Command Centre role.
- CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent.
- ITIL v3 Foundation Certification is mandatory.
- In-depth knowledge of Unix/Linux systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to work in a shift-based environment.
