Key Investment Manager/Director Role

We are seeking a commercially minded and entrepreneurial Investment Manager or Director to focus on deal origination and execution in Southeast Asia.

This is a rare opportunity to join a high-trust environment with direct access to decision-makers, and to play a key role in shaping investment strategy and execution across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Originate and evaluate investment opportunities across Southeast Asia, with an emphasis on proprietary and relationship-driven sourcing.
  • Lead or support deal execution, including financial analysis, valuation, due diligence, and negotiation.
  • Develop and maintain a strong network of industry contacts, founders, advisors, and intermediaries.
  • Assist in portfolio monitoring, strategic planning, and exit execution when relevant.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution and alignment.
Candidate Profile
  • 7–10+ years' experience in investment banking, private equity, M&A advisory, or principal investments.
  • Hunter mindset, with solid origination and execution experience.
  • Strong understanding of the SEA mid-market landscape and ability to source deals.
  • Skilled in financial modelling, due diligence, and structuring.
  • Mature, trustworthy, and capable of operating with autonomy in a lean team.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset – thrives in ambiguity and is willing to get hands dirty.
  • Preference for candidates with SEA exposure and relationships (e.g., Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia).
  • Fluent in English; other Asian languages are a plus.
