Investment Opportunity Overview

This is a rare chance to join a high-trust environment with direct access to decision-makers, and play a key role in shaping investment strategy and execution across Southeast Asia.

The firm is building its Singapore team and seeking a commercially-minded investment professional to focus on deal origination and execution in the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Originate and evaluate investment opportunities across Southeast Asia, emphasizing proprietary and relationship-driven sourcing.
  • Lead or support deal execution, including financial analysis, valuation, due diligence, and negotiation.
  • Develop and maintain a strong network of industry contacts, founders, advisors, and intermediaries.
  • Assist in portfolio monitoring, strategic planning, and exit execution when relevant.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution and alignment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 7–10+ years' experience in investment banking, private equity, M&A advisory, or principal investments.
  • Hunter mindset with solid origination and execution experience.
  • Strong understanding of the SEA mid-market landscape and ability to source deals.
  • Skilled in financial modelling, due diligence, and structuring.
  • Mature, trustworthy, and capable of operating with autonomy in a lean team.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset – thrives in ambiguity and willing to get hands dirty.
  • Preference for candidates with SEA exposure and relationships (e.g., Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia).
  • Fluent in English; other Asian languages are a plus.
