This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to gain hands-on experience in the venture capital world.

You will work closely with our investment team, learning the fundamentals of venture investing, investor relations (IR), and strategic initiatives.

You will also play a key role in strengthening our brand awareness and expanding our network among Japanese corporations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the investment team in market research, deal sourcing, and due diligence
  • Assist in preparing investment memos, reports, and portfolio updates
  • Contribute to investor relations, including drafting communications and presentations for Limited Partners (LPs)
  • Coordinate corporate development initiatives and strategic partnerships with Japanese corporations
  • Drive brand awareness and business development activities to strengthen our presence in Japan
  • Provide general support for events, meetings, and cross-border initiatives between Singapore and Japan

What You'll Learn

  • End-to-end exposure to venture capital investment processes
  • Insights into IR and corporate development strategies for a leading VC fund
  • Practical experience working with Japanese corporations expanding in Southeast Asia

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Japanese (native or business level) and English
  • Strong interest and experience in venture capital and startups (preferred if in Japan)
  • Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience in consulting, finance, or corporate development is a plus
