As a Digital Governance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our data protection and privacy policies align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive data protection and privacy policies and programs to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provide expert guidance on data privacy matters, including conducting Privacy Impact Assessments and implementing Privacy by Design principles.
  • Manage data governance initiatives, such as data mapping, data quality, and data sharing, to ensure seamless data flows across departments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement effective training programs on data protection and privacy.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging trends and changes in data privacy laws and regulations, providing recommendations for policy updates and improvements.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Law, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 3-5 years of PQE experience, preferably in a law firm or in-house setting, with a strong background in data privacy laws and regulations.
  • Qualifications: CIPP/E, CIPP/US, and CIPM certifications are highly valued but not mandatory.
  • Language Skills: Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
