Workforce Development Specialist
Job Description:The Workforce Development Specialist will oversee the implementation of HR strategies to attract and retain top talent. This role involves setting objectives for the HR team, tracking progress, and designing policies that promote a healthy work environment.
- Develop compensation and benefits plans to motivate employees and improve job satisfaction
- Execute recruitment processes to attract diverse talent to the organization
- Host in-house recruitment events to engage potential candidates
- Discuss employee career development paths with managers to ensure growth and advancement opportunities
- Monitor HR metrics such as turnover rates and cost-per-hire to inform strategic decisions
- Review departmental operations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Responsibilities also include ensuring timely resolution of employee grievances, managing foreign worker affairs, and developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the HR department.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven work experience as a HR Executive in a related industry is required. The ideal candidate should possess solid understanding of MOM Policies, excellent communication abilities, leadership skills, and ability to foster healthy employee relations. A BSc degree in Human Resources Management or Organizational Psychology is also necessary.
- Hands-on experience with Human Resources Management Software (QuickHR is a plus)
- Ability to work efficiently with a clear use of SOPs
